The network

Five lines. Every reason to learn Dutch.

Your reason decides where you get off. Inburgering stops at B1, a Dutch-taught degree runs to B2, and talking with your in-laws needs no exam at all.

Who runs this

Dutch teachers and researchers. Public rules.

The Dutch Directory is run by Dutch teachers and researchers. We map the whole market: every school, tutor and app that helps people learn Dutch. These are the rules, in public:

  1. No paid rankings. Nobody can buy a score or a spot. If paid placements ever appear, they are labelled and do not change the score.
  2. Our own products get no free pass. Any shortlist that includes something we make also shows at least two alternatives from others, and the route planner never picks it.
  3. Affiliate links are disclosed. Some tutor bookings earn a fee. The Verified Pro bar is ours and does not move for it.
  4. Nothing about your learning is stored. No progress, no streaks, no scores. This site maps the market; the learning happens elsewhere.
