We do not sell rankings. Tutors clear a public bar. Schools and courses get a fit score from sources you can check.
This directory is a shortlist, not a yellow pages dump. Live right now: 74 Verified Pro tutors out of 719 scanned, and 354 independent schools, apps, exams and resources scored for learner fit.
Verified Pro tutors (hard bar)
Marketplaces let tutors self-label as "professional." We ignore that. A tutor earns our badge only when public numbers clear both thresholds:
- 3,000+ lessons taught on the platform profile
- 4.9+ average rating
Default views on Tutors and Swipe show Pros only. The full market is available as an explicit opt-in so you know when you leave the shortlist.
Fit score for schools, apps, exams (0–100)
Each non-tutor listing gets an editorial fit score. Rough weights:

Fit score is not a star rating from users. It is our editorial judgment with sources. A 90 for Staatsexamen NT2 means "official and load-bearing," not "fun app."
Principles
- Every entry must have sources. Where it came from and when checked.
- Official quality marks matter. For NT2 and Inburgering we prioritise Blik op Werk certified schools (DUO loan eligible).
- Paid placements never move the score. If a paid placement ever appears, it is labeled.
- Affiliate links are disclosed. They fund research. They do not buy rank.
What we will not do
- Sell a higher rank
- Hide the Pro bar behind marketing fluff
- Recommend political or off-topic content as "learning news"
- Pretend a self-labeled "Professional Teacher" equals verified track record

What is a fit score?+
