By accessing and using The Dutch Directory (thedutchdirectory.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on the website.
2. About The Dutch Directory
The Dutch Directory is an independent, editorially-driven guide to Dutch learning options: schools, tutors, apps, podcasts, communities, exams, and resources. We research, verify, score, and organize this information so learners can make informed decisions.

3. No professional advice
The information on The Dutch Directory is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional educational, legal, immigration, or career advice. We research and verify listings carefully, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it. Always verify directly with the provider before making decisions, especially for exam registration, visa requirements, or financial commitments.
4. Our rankings and editorial independence
Our scores, rankings, and recommendations are editorial decisions based on published criteria (see How We Rank). No provider can pay for a higher score or placement. We may earn affiliate commissions from some providers when you click through and make a purchase. When we do, we disclose it. Affiliate status does not influence ranking.
5. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract data from the directory without permission
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our forms
- Attempt to compromise the security or availability of the website
- Use the directory to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to block access to users who violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, data structure, scoring methodology, and editorial work on The Dutch Directory are protected by copyright and database rights. You may:

8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Dutch Directory is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we work hard to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that:
- The directory will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
- Every listing detail is accurate at all times (providers change their offerings)
- The directory meets every individual's specific needs
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Dutch Directory and Dutch Fluency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the website shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. Since the directory is free to use, this amount is zero for most users.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Dutch Directory and Dutch Fluency from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the website.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands. For EU consumers, this does not affect your mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website for users who violate these terms. You may stop using the website at any time.
