Questions, answered
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. It is completely free, takes about three minutes, and needs no payment details. It is sponsored by Dutch Fluency so it stays free for everyone.
Will it tell me my CEFR level?
Yes. You get an estimate of your current CEFR level (A0–B2+) along with the main gaps to work on next. It is an indicative placement, not an official NT2 exam result.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to take the assessment and see your level. You can optionally get your personalised path and tips by email.
Who is it for?
Anyone learning Dutch: expats and internationals, inburgering and NT2 candidates, partners of Dutch speakers, and complete beginners deciding where to start.
