About Mark Lathouwers
Hi everyone! My name is Mark Lathouwers. I am from the Netherlands and my hobby is to teach Dutch. I was born in Noord-Brabant and currently I live in Noord-Holland (but if you don't know the provinces yet, we can learn them in my lesson :)). I graduated from university with a degree in Philosophy, so I have advanced proficiency in reading and writing in both Dutch and English.
Teaching style
I focus on your needs. During our trial lesson we can discuss your goals in learning Dutch and we can make a planning for fullfilling these goals. I can always share my text books with you, but if you want to have some books of your own, I will give you advice on what books to buy. If you already have study materials, we can also use them. Besides official Dutch learning materials, we can also discuss news articles, videos and movies which you have recently watched. I can also give you advice on some helpful (and fun) Dutch movies and series to watch (and which we can discuss during our lessons).
