About Alix L.
Hello! My name is Alix and I’m originally from Belgium! I’m 57 years young, I’ve traveled a lot in my life, and I’ve finally settled in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada in Colombia. Here, I run a guesthouse with my brother, take care of our animals, and work as a translator for various excursions and tours. I speak Dutch, French, English, and Spanish. I absolutely love talking, listening, and sharing beautiful stories. Just a heads up: our sessions are 100% focused on conversation. We’ll concentrate entirely on speaking and listening, so there will be no writing assignments, grammar, or text exercises. We’ll just have a cozy and warm chat about travel, nature, good food, or everyday life. We’ll take it easy, step by step, and enjoy a nice conversation together. I have years of practical experience helping people with languages. I work as a translator for international tour groups and excursions, and I guide travelers from all over the world in our guesthouse every day!
