About Boris M.
Hey! I'm Boris, a Dutch guy who's been living in Mexico for a year now. I studied tourism and have been surrounded by different languages and cultures my whole life, especially since I'm from Rotterdam – one of the most international cities in the Netherlands. I speak English, Dutch, and Spanish, which has given me a unique perspective on learning languages. I know how tough it can be to learn a new language, and I love helping others overcome those challenges. I enjoy discovering new cultures and sharing my experiences with my students. In my available time I love hiking, playing sports, learning new languages, and meeting interesting people. As a teacher, I’ll help you tackle the obstacles you face while learning a language. For beginners, I have lesson materials that will help you get off to a great start! I can be your conversation partner or assist you with any challenges you have with the Dutch language! I have experience teaching in a language exchange I did with my friend from Mexico, and I’m currently helping my close friends with English. I’ve learned and mastered two foreign languages, which means I understand what it takes to learn a different language. Learning a new language can be challenging, but I'm here to help you. Together, we can overcome obstacles and develop a deeper appreciation for the language and culture. I look forward to working with you! With one and a half years of experience teaching Dutch on Preply, I have had the opportunity to work with students from many different countries and backgrounds. I believe that everyone learns differently, so I use a clear and structured approach that I adapt to your level and goals. Using textbooks, we build your Dutch step by step. I can also help you prepare specifically for the Dutch civic integration exam. Together, we’ll work towards helping you speak Dutch with greater confidence! Do you want to learn Dutch but don’t know where to start? No problem! Together, we’ll work on your Dutch step by step and help you become more confident when speaking. Whether you’re learning Dutch for work, studies, everyday life, or the civic integration exam, I’ll help you work towards your goals. Every lesson is a new step forward!
