About Brooklyn Y.
Hallo! Nice to meet you! 🤗 I'm a 20 years old language teacher from the Netherlands. I'm teaching Dutch in English and I can also speak Spanish! You can consider me your everyday down to earth girl, interested in gaming, music, fashion, gym, anime and most importantly, teaching! Throughout our sessions we will talk about all these exciting stuff, and I will show you how easy it is to speak Dutch! My main goal will be to teach you our language in a way that you can use in your everyday life! Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who already has a bit of experience, you are more than welcome to join me! I love to build up lessons in two different ways and see which one suits you better. :) One way is a structured, more traditional way of learning, where we will start from the basics and build it up steadily. The other is a different approach, where you can choose your favourite topic for the next lesson – your pick, but I'm never out of ideas myself! This one will help you to learn and use the words you find the most useful and needed for yourself, and we can tailor your experience for you! How will our lessons look like? Every session, we will start with a warm-up chat before we delve into something interesting. With every new subject, we will expand your vocabulary and work on your pronounciation by teaching your the most relevant and popular words – not from a textbook, but the ones you will meet in every conversation! In the last few minutes, we will do a short recap make sure that you understood everything well and finish the lesson with a big smile! :) If you are interested in learning Dutch with me, you can book a trial lesson right here! The topic of the first session will be obvious: introduction! I'd also love to teach you our alphabet and greetings to give you a good start! Make sure to bring your good attitude, enthusiasm and be ready for a nice conversation! Do you have any questions? Don't hesitate to ask, so we can talk about all of them! Looking forward to study with you! Doei! 👋
