Hi, I’m Davey. I help students go from “understanding a bit” to actually speaking Dutch with confidence. Most people get stuck in grammar and theory. My approach is different, we focus on practical use and real conversations from the beginning, so you start speaking as soon as possible. As a native Dutch speaker with over 10+ years of international experience, I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language, especially when everyone switches to English. My lessons combine structure and flexibility. We build a strong foundation step by step, and once that’s in place, we focus on real progress and natural communication. I adapt everything to you: your level, your goals, and even your energy that day. Many of my students choose to take 2–3 lessons per week, especially in the beginning. This helps build momentum and leads to faster, noticeable progress. You can expect: a lot of speaking, clear explanations when needed, practical vocabulary you can actually use. Homework is optional, but available if you want to move even faster. I also help students prepare for NT2 exams, including KNM (Kennis van de Nederlandse Maatschappij), which I explain in a clear and practical way. If you’re motivated and want real progress, we’ll be a great match.
