About Hugo G.
Hi, I'm Hugo. I'm a law student in the Netherlands and I aim to become a lawyer, probably focusing on criminal law or corporate law. I have a lot of experience getting people excited about language. When I was 17, I did an exchange program in the United States. So you can trust that my English is good and you won't have any trouble understanding me! ;) During my time in the US, I got many of my peers excited about the Dutch language. I even managed to get a few students to have a small conversation in Dutch with me. If you have any questions about my experience or if you're interested, feel free to reach out! I'm always open to help in any way I can! :) After my exchange in the United States, I was asked to give guest lessons to students interested in going on exchange to the US or other parts of the world. I've been doing this for about a year and a half now, and I absolutely love it. Additionally, I have a lot of experience guiding and teaching students in certain subjects, like math and science. Since I've always been a quick learner, many classmates have asked me for help with specific topics or for explanations on how to tackle certain problems. You can always book a short trial lesson (video call) so we can discuss our goals and expectations. I want to make sure it's a fun and enjoyable experience, where you also learn a lot. Not just about vocabulary and grammar, but also a bit about Dutch culture! Hope to see you soon!
