About Isabelle D.
Hey there! My name is Isabelle and I’m originally from Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands. I previously completed my studies in physiotherapy. During my studies, I helped first-year students with their course material. I also led running and boot camp training sessions, so you can expect a bit of fitness in our classes. But wait, don’t panic! I’m also experienced in teaching yoga. And Dutch? There are many international students in Groningen who want to improve their Dutch skills. I’ve helped some of them with speaking skills and their workbook assignments! Helping people enhance their skills is super fun. Plus, it’s great to help you navigate life in the Netherlands through language. That’s a brief introduction. We’ll get to know each other better during the lesson! 😃 Over the past few years, I’ve taught in various areas: sports, language, yoga, and as a physiotherapy tutor. What keeps coming back is the way I like to work: - Share what you want to achieve/set a goal - We’ll visualize what it would be like if you’ve already reached that goal - Once you can see where you want to go, you’ll be in the right energy to learn new things. This is your motivation, and it’s what you need to keep going when things get tough. Imagine that after three weeks of practice, you can speak much more fluently, feel more confident to keep talking without fear of making mistakes, or read a few pages! I’m here to help you with your personal growth!
