About Jill H.
Hi there! My name is Jill, and I'm from the Netherlands. I have one year of experience teaching in primary education. During that time, I discovered how much joy I get from guiding children and watching them develop, build confidence, and learn new things. I love helping students learn the Dutch language in a fun, interactive, and personal way. I believe that everyone learns in their own unique way. That's why I take the time to listen to my students' goals, interests, and learning needs. By tailoring my lessons to these, I make sure that learning is not only effective but also enjoyable. I would describe myself as kind, patient, playful, and reliable. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing at their own pace. Besides teaching, I enjoy being active. I love sports, skateboarding, and spending quality time with my friends. My enthusiastic and positive attitude helps me build a great rapport with my students, making the lessons both educational and fun. I look forward to helping you on your journey to learning the Dutch language and achieving your goals together! As part of my teacher training, I did an internship in a kindergarten class (ages 4-6, similar to groups 1 and 2 in the Netherlands). Learning a new language should be fun and motivating! She is an amazing teacher. Tunes in on what I need super quickly. Very patient and encouraging. I definitely recommend her to anyone who thinks of starting to learn Dutch as her articulation is clear and she is easy to understand.
