Hi! I'm Jochem, from Amsterdam. I lived in Madrid for a year, where I learned Spanish from zero, so I know exactly how it feels to throw yourself into a new language, and I'd love to guide you on that same path, but now with Dutch. My experience in customer service, sales and live communication has taught me to explain things clearly, simply and without stress. Outside of work, I love fitness, football and festivals with friends. Are you looking for relaxed, practical lessons tailored to you? Then I'd love to be your teacher! I don't have formal teaching experience, but I have something just as valuable: I'm a native Dutch speaker, and I've personally been through the process of learning a foreign language myself, Spanish, which I started from scratch in Madrid. I know how frustrating the beginning can be, especially for a Spanish speaker facing Dutch, a language that can seem very far removed from Spanish at first glance. That's why I focus on practical, conversation based lessons without pressure, adapted to each student's own pace. My experience communicating with people from different countries in previous jobs has given me the patience and clarity to explain things well, even topics that seem complicated at first. And since I went through the process of learning Spanish myself, I understand better than most where Spanish speakers tend to get stuck when learning Dutch.
