About Karima Z.
Hello. I am Karima. Born in Brussels in Belgium. I grew up speaking Dutch and French, so I am very fluent in both languages. I decided to become a French/Dutch teacher to help people here improve or start learning these beautiful languages. I already have around 7 years of teaching experience in total. This year, I started to work online and since then I haven't gone back teaching in a school or institute here in Belgium, as I have found so many benefits in doing it online. One of those benefits are helping people from different parts of the world. Over the seven years I really understood how to approach different students, how to understand their skills, expectations, goals, and adjust my teaching accordingly. I have a passion for languages, teaching and learning and it would be an honour to teach you Dutch or French! I am a French teacher in Dutch schools. I have worked in the education sector for more than 7 years, and have worked with a variety of age groups, from 6 year olds to teenagers (19 years). My teaching style is calm, patient and fun, I understand that learning a new language can be quite scary at first. I want you to feel comfortable and safe, so I won't rush you, and we can go at a pace that you feel comfortable with. I know a fair amount of Arabic as well, so if you're a native Arabic speaker I would be a good fit for you as a tutor. I can teach you many different aspects of the language, from pronunciation and accent correction, to business French or Dutch, grammar, the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), conversational French or Dutch, and even just speaking French or Dutch more fluently so that you sound like a native speaker and feel more confident in your abilities.
