About Layo V.
Hi! My name is Layo, I’m 23 years old, and I’m from Antwerp, Belgium. Dutch is my native language. I also speak fluent English, taught myself Spanish, and have a basic knowledge of French and German. So I know what it’s like to learn a new language: how frustrating it can sometimes be, but also how rewarding it is to see yourself making progress! Outside of languages, I enjoy travelling, football, board games and technology. I like meeting new people and talking about all kinds of topics. I’m flexible in the way I teach. What matters most is that you actively engage with the language. How we do that depends on your goals and needs. We can simply have conversations, but we can also focus more on grammar and vocabulary. I’ll adapt my approach to you so that we can work on the things that matter most to you. I also believe that my role goes beyond the lessons themselves. I’m happy to provide you with extra materials that match your level and interests, so you can keep working on your Dutch outside our lessons too. During our first lesson, we can get to know each other, discuss your goals, and explore how I can best help you achieve them. Based on that, we can create a plan together. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you improve your Dutch. Hope to see you soon!
