About Levine V.
Hi, I'm Levine. I'm from Arnhem, Netherlands, and I write fiction, essays, and poetry. I've just started teaching Dutch, and I have a lot of experience with reading and writing. I hope to inspire others to use the Dutch language in a fluent, creative, and personal way. I enjoy reading literary and autobiographical fiction and creating visual art. In my classes, my top priority is getting to know each other. As a teacher, it's really important for me to understand who you are and where you are in your development with the subject I teach. From there, I try to find topics and assignments that we can focus on in our lessons. Book a lesson with me if you're looking for a learning approach that fits the way you work, and together we'll discover the best way for you to navigate the Dutch language.

I really enjoy my lessons with Levine. She explains everything clearly and in detail, which makes learning Dutch much easier. She is supportive and patient, and creates a positive atmosphere. I especially appreciate that we work through exercises together, which helps a lot with understanding and practicing the language.

Levine is excellent! Very helpful, patient, and flexible. She has a very solid understanding of Dutch: she is a native speaker but also understands how the language works from a linguistic perspective. She speaks both English and German which ends up being very helpful for both new and advanced learners and she will shift between the two (based on your needs/ preferences) to help encourage a balance between immersion and comprehension. AND she obviously brings a lot cultural references to the lessons that will be helpful to anyone looking to live in Dutch speaking areas and/ or interacting with Dutch clientele/ coworkers. Bravo!

Very poor experience. The tutor only notified me at the very last moment that she couldn’t attend, leaving me no time to react or adjust my schedule. It was frustrating and felt unprofessional. I do not recommend her. :(
