Do you want to learn Dutch in a way that suits you? I am the experienced flexible teacher you have been looking for! I teach Dutch to students of all ages (4 years and up) and backgrounds. Neurodiverse people are welcome in my classes as well. After teaching in the classroom for over 20 years in diverse educational settings, I am loving the challenge to teach individuals in a more relaxed setting. Whether you are 5 or 105 years old, a balance between fun and challenge is important to learn new things. I use a diverse spectrum of activities and strategies to keep our lessons fresh and interesting. Depending on your goals, we focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and/or learning new vocabulary. I have a Bachelor degree in Education and over twenty years of experience teaching in different settings and countries. I taught for about 15 years at an IB international school in Laos, the country I still live in. Now I bring my experience with inquiry based learning into the Preply classroom. I work with children, teens, and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate students. I have experience in working with students with diverse learning needs and will adapt my lessons to what works best for you. I aim to challenge, inspire, and empower my students. I am an open-minded person and love working with students from all backgrounds 🏳🌈. I am learning something new from my students every day.
