About Rosalie V.
Hoi! I'm Rosalie – ✔️ Verified Teacher who LOVES to chat! :) I'm a qualified primary school teacher from the Netherlands (PABO – Bachelor of Education, Saxion University, Enschede) with 3+ years of experience teaching in real classrooms. From 4-year-olds learning to read, to teenagers prepping for exams, to adults building a new life in the Netherlands – I've taught them all. What I learned? The best way to learn Dutch is not from a textbook, it's by talking. A lot. In a relaxed, fun way where you dare to make mistakes. If you're looking for a patient, warm, and cheerful teacher who will make you feel confident from our very first lesson – you found her! What will we work on? Whatever YOU need Dutch for: - Feeling confident speaking in daily life – at work, in the supermarket, at the doctor, at those famous Dutch birthday parties - Fixing grammar that finally makes sense (de/het, word order, 'er') - Taming Dutch pronunciation – yes, we will master that hard G, sch and ui together - Integration, NT2, job interviews, and writing professional emails My lessons are structured (I'm a real teacher, after all!) but never stiff. We make a clear plan in our first trial and work step-by-step towards your goal, with lots of practical conversation about real life. Outside of teaching, I'm happiest when I'm: - Dancing: salsa and bachata are my absolute passion! - Traveling: tell me about your country, I love to hear travel stories - Cooking: trying new recipes and talking about food from around the world - Gaming and chatting with people from different cultures So whether you want to chat about your latest trip, your favorite food, music, or life in the Netherlands – we will use it to make your Dutch fluent and natural. My goal is to make you feel at ease, to make you laugh, and to make you think: ''Hey, I can actually do this in Dutch!" Ready? Book a trial lesson and let's talk about your goals. I can't wait to meet you! Liefs, Rosalie Bachelor of Education in Primary Education (PABO) – Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Enschede, Netherlands (2018-2022). Graduated as a fully qualified primary school teacher. This diploma is verified by Preply and is NLQF Level 6 / EQF Level 6. My education focused on pedagogy, language development, Dutch as a second language (NT2), lesson planning, classroom management, and educational psychology. Still thinking about booking? Let's make it easy! I know starting a new language can feel a bit scary – will I make mistakes? Will I understand anything? With me, you will feel at ease from minute one. In our first trial lesson we will: ✓ Talk about your goals (work, daily life, exam, travel?) ✓ Check your current level – no test, just a relaxed chat ✓ Make a clear, personal plan so you know exactly how we will get you there ✓ Already have your first real conversation in Dutch! You don't need to be perfect. You just need to start. I will handle the rest with clear explanations, lots of speaking practice, and a lot of patience and encouragement. You bring your goals, I bring the structure, the fun, and yes – my love for chatting, traveling, cooking and salsa music, so we never run out of things to talk about. Ready to feel more confident in Dutch? Book your trial lesson now and let's get you speaking! I can't wait to meet you!
