About Sybren R.
My name is Sybren, and I'm a native Dutch speaker from Belgium currently living in Thailand. I enjoy helping people improve their Dutch in a relaxed, friendly, and practical way. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, I tailor the lessons to your goals and learning style. My classes focus on everyday communication, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and building confidence while speaking. We can practice everyday conversations, prepare you for a trip or work, or simply enhance your speaking skills. I'm patient, easy to talk to, and I believe that learning a language should be fun and practical. Making mistakes is part of the learning process, and I'm here to help you improve step by step. I have experience teaching Dutch to my partner, helping her improve her vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence while speaking. I also understand the challenges of learning a new language because I'm currently learning Thai myself. This helps me be patient and supportive, and to understand the learner's perspective well. Learning a new language can open the door to new friendships, opportunities, and experiences. Sybren is great! He is super patient, kind, and supportive. His classes are catered to your needs and your personal preferences. They are also super fun and often filled with games, which creates such a safe and comfortable environment for learning. He is a cool guy and comes to every lesson ready to hype you up. 10/10
