Echt Gebeurd is a Dutch storytelling podcast and live-event series founded in 2008 by Paulien Cornelisse and Micha Wertheim, inspired by the American show The Moth, where ordinary people tell their own true personal stories on a small stage. Selected stories are released on the podcast, and each event features someone reading from a diary they kept as a teenager.
