ROC Mondriaan Den Haag — Taal+: NT2 and Integration in The Hague

ROC Mondriaan is the regional training centre (Regionaal Opleidingencentrum) for The Hague and surrounding areas. Its Taal+ department is the city's primary partner for the Haags Convenant inburgering, offering NT2 courses, literacy programs (alfabetisering), and the MBO Education Route for non-native speakers.

What ROC Mondriaan Taal+ Offers

Taal+ runs a wide spectrum of Dutch language programs. For absolute beginners and low-literacy learners, there are alfabetisering tracks that combine basic literacy with Dutch acquisition. For integration candidates, there are structured inburgering pathways aligned with the new Civic Integration Act (Wet inburgering 2021), including the B1 route and the Education Route (Onderwijsroute) that leads into MBO vocational training.

NT2 courses span A0 through B2, with day and evening options. The school also provides "Taal en Ouder" (Language and Parent) programs for non-native parents and "Taal en Werk" (Language and Work) tracks that combine Dutch with job preparation. As part of the Haags Convenant, ROC Mondriaan coordinates with the municipality and other local partners to create integrated pathways.
