About Eske
My name is Eske and I am 30 years old. Living as a digital nomad and living my favourite life in Italy have made me familiar with online teaching. I am a textile nerd, nature seeker and in love with Italy. My free time is spent gardening, cooking, knitting, building or any other DIY projects. I graduated in Textile Technologies and worked 5 years in the industry. I have also been teaching Dutch classes to expats from all over the world. Everyone is welcome! I want to offer classes to everyone from all over the world. If you have a different budget but are still interested in the classes, please send me a message. I am a very patient and passionate teacher and I would love to get to know you as a person so that I can design my classes to your interests and needs. I am a calm person and will adapt to your wishes. In this way my classes are very different from the normal language classes and will help you reach your goals and enjoy your journey of the Dutch language. The focus is on practical speaking skills and cultural connection, so you can express yourself more easily and connect with Dutch speakers in daily life. My lessons are based on your personal motivation. During the first introduction class of 30 minutes we will establish your motivation and goals together. Please be aware of what I actually earn: italki share (21%), $/€ exchange rate (payment fee 2%), then taxes. My prices are based on experience and high demand. I have been teaching for over 5+ years

Eske is an amazing teacher: just so patient, thoughtful, generous, and creative. She really takes an interest in you as a person and shapes the lessons to your needs. I've learnt so much new vocabulary, for example, about such interesting things: from gardens to galleries to historical manuscripts. I cannot recommend Eske highly enough!

Eske is an exceptionally good Dutch teacher! She creates a pleasant and supportive atmosphere, asks a lot of questions and actively listens writing down notes and missing words so I can focus on speaking. She sends (interesting!) materials beforehand to read/watch, which helps me expand the vocab on different topics to talk about. She also tailors the lesson to what you need whether it's vocab training, grammar or just getting confidence in speaking.
Eske is a great teacher. I have learned so much working with her. I highly recommend her.
