My native language is Dutch. But I have a C2 English score and I'm also able to speak Spanish (I lived in Mexico for 4+ years, so that's why). I speak some Japanese as well (JLPT N-4)! I love Nature, Languages & Culture, Watches, Guitar and Sports (especially skateboarding). Also an avid fish keeper! I love learning different languages, because it makes it way easier to manage/survive in different countries. It also broadens your view. Ow, I love to draw and tattoo as well! A fun way of learning and practising a language by just having fun conversations, using documents, pictures that you can describe and asking random fun questions. In that way you'll see you already know more than you probably first expected! I love languages and helping.. And apparently I'm pretty good at explaining something! Growing up, I always had a fascination for other languages and people. In Holland you see a lot of nationalities, so it wasn't hard to find people that spoke other languages. I quickly learnt English and later Japanese and Spanish! (I have kids, I help them with their Dutch, ESP, Japanese & English as well! So I have XP with Children).

Johannes creates a very relaxed atmosphere, where even new learners feel completely at ease to speak Dutch and improve every lesson. Each lesson is well prepared, explained on a level that is easy to understand and with good material.
I specifically wanted to spend some time working on my written Dutch. I have been keeping a list of things I wanted to write in Dutch, but was not confident enough to do so with my draft version. We have been spending time going through these drafts, correcting mistakes, explaining, and finding ways to elevate/expand my writing. I have been finding this very useful and am getting a lot of value out of it.
