About Elisa
Let's learn Dutch with structured or conversation lessons! :) I’m a native Dutch speaker and also speak English. I’m currently studying Japanese, and I have a background in software engineering and game development. Also I have lived in Japan before, so I know how difficult it can be. ;) I enjoy anime, reading, cooking, coding, and learning about new cultures. I’d love to hear more about your culture! :) (By the way, I update my schedule every Sunday with new lesson times.) (I do not teach children, sorry) 🌸 I'm a patient teacher, that understands the struggle of learning a new language. 🌸 I have helped people with their Dutch before and also have experienced many study methods myself. 🌸 I create study plans tailored to your goals, making sure every lesson is useful, fun, and just right for you. ✨Beginner For complete beginners I have a study plan that starts with introduction. Each lesson we will repeat what we have learned before and after that we will start a new topic or repeat any topics you still find difficult. ✨ Language Immersion Using your interest, I will find Dutch articles, Tv shows, newspapers or create conversations topics. The whole lesson will be in Dutch except when you really don't understand something or you're still a beginner. ✨ General Conversation We can chat about any topic you like! Each lesson has a different theme to keep things interesting, so you don’t just repeat the same topics over and over. You’ll practice Dutch in a relaxed, friendly way! :)

She always uses real-life examples and explains everything clearly, making strong connections between ideas. Her lessons are enjoyable and encourage you to speak, even if you don’t have enough vocabulary on the topic. It’s both fun and educational to have lessons with her.
I recommend Elisa's lessons. I am someone who understands most spoken Dutch but needs more practice speaking myself, and Elisa has been great about giving me the opportunity to speak in a way that feels like a natural and fun conversation and helping me rephrase things when I'm not sure the correct way to say something. I had about 20 lessons (2,5 months of active studying) with Elisa before actually going to the Netherlands. After that, I could actually survive, and also talk to people from the hostels and to my Dutch-speaking friends. It's an amazing feeling and I got the biggest compliments from people for my Dutch after such a short period of learning it. I really like how the lessons are structured and that you can always come back to the previous topics and vocabulary from the lessons. Even though many topics seem confusing to me, Elisa takes time to go through them at a good pace and structures following lessons, according to the topics that make it difficult for me to speak at the moment. Dankjewel, en ik hoop dat mijn Nederlands steeds beter zal worden! :)
