Kenny

I've been practicing French and Dutch with Kenny for several months now, and it's been an enriching experience. Kenny is composed, always punctual, prepared, polite, and knowledgeable. His composed demeanor creates a conducive learning environment, while their punctuality and preparedness ensure efficient sessions tailored to my needs. Kenny is unfailingly polite, fostering a positive rapport, and their expertise in French and Dutch shines through in every lesson. In short, Kenny is an exceptional language teacher. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their French or Dutch skills.

I've been learning French with Kenny for quite some time now. This is the tutor who I strongly recommend to those trying to learn how to speak le Français (and any other of the multiple languages that Kenny speaks). Just a few reasons why I think so: Kenny is patient, so you're not afraid to speak with mistakes in the beginning. On top of that, Kenny is just an interesting person to talk to, which makes lessons feel less boring/formal. This greatly helps you to set the wheel in motion when you're starting off. My program/study plan with Kenny is personalized into a mix of exercises (drilling) and entertaining materials (like videos/audios). This way it is balanced and you don't feel bored of "just doing stuff". Importantly, Kenny leaves notes for each of the lessons which you can come back to after the lesson to go over the material and thus learn it better.

I was very comfortable with Kenny which was nice since this was my first lesson with him. He is calm and encouraging and uses whole sentences to help you learn the structure in context rather than memorizing verb charts which I like! Also, if you have any multilingual experience that is relevant he does teach the cultural differences or markers that overlap between what you know and what you are learning which helps expand the scheme more naturally!

More than just a language teacher, Kenny is a language coach. I remember when I first started taking Italian lessons with him about two years ago I'd feel super nervous before and exhausted (in a good way) after. After over 100 lessons I feel confident and look forward to our weekly hour together. As language learners, we are all striving towards fluency, but gaining confidence in your own ability is just as important. That's what you'll get when you work with Kenny. Also, it is fantastic to work with a polyglot because he can guide you in multiple languages at once. He has inspired me to learn French, and now I'm learning French through Italian thanks to his encouragement.

This language has been proving a) harder for me to remember and b) more tricky for me phonetically but Kenny never makes me feel silly or dumb. He is very patient and genuine and excellent at explaining the language parts as they relate to my home and more fluent languages. Even just a few lessons in, I don't feel as stressed talking anymore. He has a set structure for the lessen but he takes the time to listen when I make a connection to things I already know and when I try to be brave and practice without a question stem or guide phrase to help. Super kind, glad we connected.

Kenny es un excelente maestro. Planea bien su clase, (vale la pena el pago) se adapta a tu nivel, te explica de manera clara y concisa cuando te corrige al momento. Recomiendo muchísimo.
