About Royce
Hi! I’m Ron, your friendly Dutch conversation coach from Suriname. While I started as an engineer, teaching Dutch became my true calling—especially helping learners speak confidently in real-life situations. My lessons are relaxed, personalized, and packed with practical tips to make Dutch feel natural. Whether you’re preparing for travel, work, or just love languages, I’ll adapt to your goals with patience and a smile. Fun fact: I switched careers during the pandemic and haven’t looked back! Let’s turn your Dutch into a joy, not a chore.
Teaching style
I love free talk mostly. But depending on what the students want or need I tailor my lessons to that. Grammar and pronunciation are very important aspects in the most languages including english and dutch. With this in mind I may occasionally interrupt to make corrections on these matters. Please don't take it personally. I also usually add humor during the lessons. we are going to have fun
