Depending on your goals, we can work on speaking, pronunciation, listening, sentence structure, vocabulary, reading, or Dutch for everyday and professional situations. A big part of my approach is identifying what is really holding you back. Two students who are both โA2โ can need completely different lessons. First, we identify your level, goals and main areas for improvement. From there, I adapt dialogues, conversations, texts and exercises around what you actually need. Youโll get plenty of opportunities to form your own sentences and express your own ideas. When something goes wrong, we donโt just replace it with the correct answer; we look at why it sounds unnatural and practise the same structure again until it becomes easier to use. Learning a language is a bit like learning to ride a horse: theory helps, but eventually you have to get on the mighty beast, practise, make mistakes and learn how to respond naturally. You donโt need to wait until your Dutch is good enough to start using it. Using it is how it becomes good enough. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐? Axel is a highly skilled and patient tutor. I really enjoy my Dutch lessons with him. He is patient, friendly, and explains things very clearly. What I especially like is the way he explains grammar he makes it simple and practical, so you can actually understand it and start applying it in conversations the very next day. The lessons are relaxed and comfortable, and I already feel more confident speaking Dutch.
