About Christiaan E.
I have a TEFL certificate and I taught professional English, German, and Dutch in Mexico. I grew up with these languages. I have a passion for language. I love to explore older versions of a language, as well as the etymological connections between different languages. I will use this knowledge to make learning languages easier for you :) My greatest joy is seeing my students make progress, for example, when people in their environment compliment them on how well they speak all of a sudden. That always gives me a big smile! With you, I stay in the 'learning zone': easy enough for you to not feel overwhelmed with the exercises we do... but at the same time difficult enough for you to learn new things and improve your language skills. My students are always positively surprised by my classes. They have told me that they are never bored! I have a good, warm connection with all my students. I am proud to have helped many of my students with passing necessary exams, improving their language skills to get more out of their daily lives, and learning the language they needed for a better job. Christiaan is highly flexible and attentive to my learning needs. Each lesson is different and can easily be adapted to focus on the areas where I need the most support. He is very open to my suggestions and the materials I would like to use, and together we create a clear plan during every lesson. Although I only started Dutch lessons recently, I can already notice improvement in my language skills, and my friends have noticed this as well. This shows that the lessons are effective and that meaningful progress is being made.
I always learn a lot during the classes and the exercises we do is also fun.

Just had my first class, and hé is superb! He takes the time to listen to your questions, adapt his lessons to your current learning needs, and has a very structured, detailed course outlined which I much appreciate with my structured personality. Why is there not 10 stars available to rate him?? 10 stars if it was an option!
