My name is Helen, I was born and raised in the Netherlands, and my favorite subjects in school were the different languages: Dutch, French, English, German, Latin, and Greek. My love for teaching started when I helped my expat friends learn Dutch, from simple conversations to real lessons. Their enthusiasm and quick progress inspired me to take this more professionally. In my free time, I enjoy reading, love movies and music, do some sports, and focus a lot on personal development. I’m flexible in my approach and adapt to the needs of the student. I help both beginners and advanced learners and can support you with: -Daily conversations -Work-related communication -Pronunciation -Grammar and vocabulary In my lessons, you can expect the following: Clear explanations and practical examples Interactive classes, with plenty of room to speak An approach that fits your goals Targeted feedback, so you can make quick progress Do you have specific goals? For example, integration, work, study, or pronunciation? Then I’ll tailor my approach to meet those. My goal is for you to feel confident in Dutch and to enjoy getting started.
