About Joash V.
Hello! My name is Joash, and I’m a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands. I enjoy helping students learn Dutch in a clear, structured, and practical way. Over the past few years, I’ve been teaching and tutoring students—mainly high school students—which helped me develop a patient and supportive teaching style. In my lessons, I focus on making Dutch understandable and useful for real-life situations. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, strengthen your grammar, or prepare for exams such as the Dutch integration exam, I adapt each lesson to your level, goals, and learning style. My aim is to help you build confidence while making steady progress with the language. Besides teaching, I am currently studying Civil Engineering at university. I enjoy problem solving, learning about different cultures, and meeting people from around the world. Teaching Dutch allows me to combine these interests while helping students succeed in learning a new language. I look forward to meeting you and helping you improve your Dutch! I have around four years of experience teaching and tutoring students online from different backgrounds and levels. Much of my experience comes from working with high school students, where I helped them understand complex topics in a clear and structured way. This experience taught me how to explain difficult concepts step by step and adapt my explanations to each student. In my Dutch lessons, I focus on practical language use so you can confidently use Dutch in daily life, work, or study. I can help you improve your speaking skills, grammar, and pronunciation, or prepare for exams such as the Dutch integration exam. Every lesson is adapted to your level and personal goals. My teaching style is structured and interactive. I use examples, guided exercises, and conversation practice so you actively use the language instead of only memorizing rules. I believe students learn best when they clearly understand how the language works. Alongside teaching, I am studying Civil Engineering at university, which has strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Joash is a very patient and clear Dutch teacher. He explains grammar in a simple and structured way, which makes it much easier to understand. The lessons are relaxed and interactive, and he encourages you to speak from the beginning. I already feel more confident speaking after only a few lessons. I would definitely recommend Joash to anyone who wants to learn Dutch in a supportive and well organized way.
