About Jolien H.
Hi, my name is Jolien. After working for years as a Dutch teacher in secondary education, vocational education, and as an NT2 teacher in the Netherlands, I've moved around to different countries due to my husband's job. During my time in France, North Macedonia, Denmark, and Portugal, I learned that mastering the local language not only makes your daily life easier but also gives you a deeper connection with the community and the people around you. It helps you not just with practical matters but also opens the door to real interaction, understanding, and a sense of belonging. I have 4 years of experience as a Dutch teacher. In these 4 years, I've taught various age groups, from young to old. The settings have varied too; from secondary schools to vocational education, as well as group and private NT2 lessons. In schools, I used the existing curriculum, while for extracurricular lessons, the content depended on the participant's goals. Do you want to learn Dutch for work or personal reasons and are you looking for personal guidance and tailored lessons? Book a lesson, and I'll help you get on the right track to achieving your goals as quickly as possible.
