Hi! I'm Lola from Belgium! 🇧🇪 I am currently a digital nomad and travelling the world full time since early 2024. 🌎 I grew up in a Dutch speaking household while living in the French speaking part of my country. Therefore, I have always been bilingual. I also learned English at a very young age, used it for work and it has been my only language for the last 1+ year. On top of that, I have a good knowledge of Spanish. ☺️ I used to live in Brussels (capital city), worked in Dutch (in HR) while having a French speaking social life. Whether you are a child, a teenager, an adult or a parent looking to help your child, it would be my pleasure to teach. Whether you want to learn a new language from 0, have a few basics or just need to perfect your knowledge my lessons will be fully tailored to you, your needs and wants. Whether you need a more academic approach or more personal, I will be there to assist. Whether you want to learn a language for school, work or leisure I can adapt. My background 👩 Dutch 🇳🇱: Born and raised and went to college in Dutch + I used to work in Dutch. French 🇫🇷: Grew up with a French speaking social life, went to school and finished High School in French. English 🇬🇧 : English is now my primary used language on a daily base for work and personal life and I learned this language at a very young age. Spanish 🇪🇸: The language that I learned as a teenager for my own pleasure to go, visit the world and meet new people. My teaching experiences 👩🎓 📚 Have been tutoring high schoolers and college students for their language classes since I was in middle school myself so I am pretty used to helping teenagers. I also taught English in a language school in South Korea for 1+ month at which I taught more to adults. Regarding children, I have also helped out neighbours, little cousins and nephews so that has always been a part of my daily life. Plus at work, I used to help out my colleges who were struggling either in French, Dutch or in English. My interests and hobbies 🧭 📷 👩🍳 🏊♀️ As mentioned before, I travel full time so that’s a big part of me and my interests. I also love to take pictures to keep memories of all my adventures, love to cook and swim amongst other things. Very supportive and patient, has clever ways to teach "real life" grammar and pronunciation. She is flexible to match your speed and current level, and is happy to answer any random questions on the go, without losing focus on the lesson plan.

Lola is an excellent teacher! Always smiling and calm, she helps me feel at ease despite my shyness, stress, and beginner difficulties. She is relaxed and natural, which makes the sessions enjoyable and motivating, while still being very professional. She explains things very clearly, never gets flustered by my questions, and always has useful ideas to propose to answer them in the best possible way. This is really helpful for me to understand, practice, and assimilate what I learn. She also encourages me to take the plunge, without being afraid of making mistakes, and that makes learning so much more enjoyable and effective. She is super organized and conscientious, and you can tell that her lessons are well-prepared. The little assignments she gives me are well-targeted and useful for making progress. Lola is also very attentive to working on all skills: speaking, writing, accuracy, fluency… nothing is overlooked. Thanks to her, I learn well and at my own pace.
