About Noa S.
Hi there! My name is Noa, and I'm originally from Belgium, but I now live in Australia. I'm 25 years old and hold two bachelor's degrees. My native language is Dutch, and I love writing in Dutch, which is why I studied journalism. I would love to teach others the beautiful Dutch language! :) In my spare time, you can find me in a dance studio because I'm a dancer and dance teacher. I also have a passion for vegetarian cooking and traveling. I've lived in Belgium my whole life, but I moved in January 2025. Still, I love visiting my home country to enjoy fries and chocolate. I have a Flemish accent, but I can also teach with a Dutch (Netherlands) accent. I have over 7 years of teaching experience, mainly as a dance teacher for all ages. Over the past 10 years, I have also tutored other or younger students, not only in Dutch, but also in subjects such as English and History. During my lessons, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak Dutch, and after each lesson you’ll receive comprehensive documents and exercises (made by myself). I make sure all grammar/voc is clearly structured in a PDF or Word document. I believe you learn a language by using it. That’s why I provide the basics of grammar and vocabulary first, before we move on to practical learning. Depending on your level and the reason why you want to learn Dutch, I adapt my lessons. I tailor my classes not only to your level, but also to your interests — after all, you learn faster when you talk about topics you enjoy. I’m very patient and extremely passionate about the Dutch language. I would love to teach you! Together, we’ll discover the beautiful Dutch language! With my passion and experience, I make learning fun and personal, so you can make progress quickly. Let’s use your interests to bring the language to life!

Noa’s classes are very well structured; easy to follow and engaging. She makes it easy and even fun for a total beginner to try and speak the language. totally recommend!
