About Peter S.
Hello, I'm Peter. A teacher/journalist with a passion for language. My lessons are fun, varied, and educational, where you'll read, listen, and, most importantly, speak Dutch. My first task is to give you confidence. Don't be afraid to make mistakes! That's how you learn! I know what it's like to learn a different language and culture. After years in Lebanon, I now live in Brazil. I speak 5 languages, write about politics, the environment, and football, and I love art and culture. And we can talk about that in class too! In Dutch! I've been teaching for about 20 years. My approach is based as much as possible on dialogue. I'm going to get you talking, talking, talking. That's the only way to learn a language. My journalistic experience helps with that. If you want to take the integration exam, I will create a detailed plan based on past exams. With my experience, I'm happy to help you master the Dutch language with confidence. Making mistakes is actually good! Let's talk about what interests you, so you can learn with joy.
