About Robin A.
Hi, I'm Robin. I'm here to help you on your journey with the Dutch language. I really enjoy helping people learn the language. Patience is super important when it comes to learning, and I'm very patient with my students. I love learning about languages and other cultures, and I’m excited to share my language and culture with you in an engaging and interactive way. Some of my other hobbies include going to the gym, doing yoga, kickboxing, cooking, hiking, reading, traveling, and having nice chats over a cup of coffee or tea. I earned my teaching qualification over four years ago, but I was already teaching before that. In total, I have more than 6 years of experience teaching Dutch at all levels from A0 to B2. Students have described my classes as enjoyable, engaging, stimulating, interactive, and challenging. I have extensive experience teaching both in-person and online, to children, adults, and seniors, in both large groups and one-on-one. I've noticed that everyone learns at their own pace and benefits from their own learning style, but I always enjoy figuring out which style works best for my student. My teaching method uses materials from various books, as well as self-created resources and exercises from educational platforms like Wordwall and Kahoot. I also love incorporating digital tools and different forms of media during lessons. My classes are generally focused on exam preparation, as I know this is an important goal for most of my students. That's why I've built a lot of experience in preparing students for all exam levels, from A1 to B2. Occasionally, I also work as an examiner for A1 and A2 exams, which gives me great insight into what is expected from students. Do you need to pass an exam?
