I had another good lesson with Carson where we role-played shopping scenarios to help me prepare for a planned trip. Carson provided helpful corrections, useful vocabulary and was very patient.

During our first lesson (only my second attempt to speak in Dutch), Carson assessed my level, provided useful notes and clearly explained his process and how we could work together in future lessons. Although it's always hard to know what to expect from and how to judge a first lesson in a language when at a very low level, we had an enjoyable conversation and Carson helped me get my words out and create a good atmosphere for learning.
