Hoi! My name is Chris, a Dutch native and I'm teaching Dutch (adults) on this platform. I'm currently living in Mexico, but have lived in Rotterdam, Vietnam & Spain before. I’ve been teaching since 2018 and always try to make my students feel comfortable. I believe that when you feel relaxed, you speak more, and learn faster. I enjoy adding some jokes and making the lessons feel relaxed. Over the years, I’ve helped many students prepare for both the inburgeringsexamen and the staatsexamen in the Netherlands. So if you're studying for an exam, I’ll help you feel confident and ready. MY LESSON APPROACH: My classes are relaxed, but structured. I always take notes and will send a review after the class for you to have an overview as well. In our first lesson, we’ll create a personal plan based on your goals and learning style. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt to what works best for you. I'll make sure there will be a variety of accuracy and fluency practice. CANCELLATION POLICY: - Cancelling less than 24 hours before class: 50% of the lesson price is charged, as the time slot can no longer be booked by other students. - Cancelling less than 3 hours before class: no rescheduling possible.
