About Kevin Stam
Mijn naam is Kevin en ik heb de opleiding tot docent Engels gevolgd. Ik ben gek op nieuwe talen leren, want ik ben van mening dat je op die manier ook cultuur meepakt. Dit houdt ook in dat ik graag reis. My name is Kevin and I did an education of becoming an English teacher. I love learning new languages, because I think that you can learn a lot about culture that way. This also means that I love to travel.
Teaching style
Ik sta open voor allerlei onderwerpen, dus voel je vrij om iets te willen leren over een onderwerp waar je graag over praat. Ik neem de lessen serieus, al maak ik ook wel grapjes tussendoor. Ik maak met name gebruik van Google Docs. Als je specifieke informatie wil, zou ik dat graag uiterlijk een dag van te voren willen weten, zodat ik me daar op kan voorbereiden. I am willing to talk about all subjects, so feel free to talk about anything that you want. I take the lessons seriously, although I do make jokes here and there. I mainly use Google Docs for exercises. If you want specific information, I would like to know that 24h beforehand, so that I can prepare for that.

I wasn’t mistaken! Kevin gave me plenty of space to practise my speaking skills, monitoring my accuracy and offering prompts and suggestions when needed. He has a natural ability to adapt his teaching style to the needs of the students he works with. He was able to assess my learning style, strengths, and weaknesses, and adjust the lessons accordingly. On top of that, he is an intelligent and kind human being who is simply fun to be around.
