About Marijke
Hi, I'm Marijke! Do you want to feel more confident speaking Dutch in everyday situations? I help you learn Dutch in a relaxed and practical way, with a focus on conversation, pronunciation and speaking naturally. I'm 30 years old and a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands. Over the past few years, I've lived and travelled throughout Central and South America, and Mexico has truly become my second home. Besides travelling and discovering different cultures, I'm passionate about music, neuroscience, wellness, photography and interior design. I love connecting with people from all over the world. In my lessons, my goal is to help you make Dutch feel natural and approachable. We focus on speaking, listening and pronunciation, so you can feel comfortable having real conversations. Whether you're learning Dutch for daily life, moving to the Netherlands, work, or simply because you love languages, I adapt the lessons to your goals and pace. I believe learning a language works best through small steps and confidence. Mistakes are a natural part of the process, and my goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable practising. Don't expect lots of homework!
