Hello, my name is Huub. I am 29 years old and I come from the Netherlands. I live in Colombia where I learned Spanish at a language school. In my daily life, I am a trader on the forex market, but I miss the social aspect of this work, which is why I am offering my services as a Dutch tutor. I enjoy interacting with people, and helping others gives me a lot of satisfaction. I have a number of interests and knowledge in the hospitality sector, financial markets, business management in general, sports including football and weightlifting. I have experience teaching English and Dutch. I taught Dutch to various people close by. I have also taught English to children. I know how to listen and can assess quickly what is necessary for you to learn Dutch. I have been teaching online now for some time, I am very motivated to get the best out of every student. I am not going to sell you a certain method because I don't believe there is a holy grail method. I do think it is important to have a good plan to improve your level. My lessons are prepared and personalised with homework if you wish. The lessons consist of speaking, grammar, reading, listening, writing and depending on the season I treat different Dutch cultural holidays. I am also available for integration exams. I offer Business Dutch for people that want to integrate in the Dutch work-field or I can help you prepare for the application process getting hired in The Netherlands or Belgium. What can you expect from a class with me? Each Dutch lesson is structured around a relaxed introduction, including a short conversation to encourage speaking skills. This is followed by a clear explanation of the core content, tailored to the student’s level and learning goals. We then practise the material through practical exercises. The lesson concludes with a review and targeted homework to reinforce what has been learned. Want to start learning the Dutch language but don't know where to start? Don't worry, I am happy to help you learn Dutch in a fun and interactive way. The learning environment is safe and you can make as much mistakes as necessary. I'll make sure that communicating in Dutch becomes easier for you.

Huub is patient and always well prepared. In a month's time I've already come a long way in feeling more confident in my A2 Dutch preparations for the exam but in general with my own comprehension of the language in society and my day to day.
