Hello, my name is Mariam, and I am a Public Speaking tutor with over 5 years of experience. I love helping students build confidence, express themselves clearly, and become effective speakers. I enjoy creating a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising and improving. I enjoy tennis, reading, and swimming. I have experience teaching one-on-one lessons and small groups, both online and in person. My approach is structured but flexible, always adapting each lesson to the student’s personal goals, confidence level, learning style, and pace. Over the years, I have helped students build confidence, improve speech delivery, prepare for presentations and interviews, and develop clear and effective communication skills. We can work on public speaking techniques, body language, pronunciation, storytelling, audience engagement, and overcoming nervousness when speaking in front of others. I focus on creating a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable practising, making mistakes, receiving constructive feedback, and improving step by step. My lessons are focused, practical, and fully adapted to your goals. Whether you need public speaking for presentations, interviews, work, university, meetings, or simply to become more confident speaking in front of others, I will guide you step by step until you feel more comfortable and natural. Many people struggle with public speaking because they lack confidence, structure, practice, or constructive feedback. In my classes, you will always know exactly what to work on next. We will practise speaking techniques, presentation structure, body language, delivery, and audience engagement while building your confidence along the way. There were slight network issues, but these were probably on my end. Miriam's lessons are well-structured and well-explained. Difficulty gradually increases, which provides a good challenge without being overwhelming.

Mariam is prepared and structured. She quickly assessed my level and has been providing me with the perfect inputs to quickly progress. I started from zero, and Mariam really helped me build understanding and vocabulary and start building the confidence to communicate. Highly recommend.
