Hello everyone, I am happy to introduce myself! My name's Mark, and I am a motivated teacher to help you discover or improve your use and understanding of Dutch. As a native speaker of Dutch, I can guide you through the grammar and phonetics, which will enable you to grasp Dutch better and, at the same time, gain confidence. I offer tailor-made courses for you that suit your needs, interests, and learning styles. I furthermore offer preparations for specific official Dutch exams (such as NT2 state exams). Having received TEFL training and certificate, which is relevant for teaching English, I can easily adapt those TEFL-methods to teaching Dutch. My experience as an enthusiastic language learner also improves my ability to empathize with the student, and to determine what the learner would need to improve his or her Dutch proficiency. I can confidently ask Mark generalised or technical questions and get educated and insightful responses. Mark draws on their experience of many languages. They incorporate examples from other languages that I speak beside English, if it makes for a better analogy. Mark always has interesting ideas no matter the conversation topic, making it easy to find engaging subjects to use as learning material. Mark is friendly and accommodating. We've switched between different learning styles, both upon my request as well as per Mark's suggestions.
Very educated teacher good for advanced students. I learned at the side a lot about Dutch politics, history, and culture.
