About Niels G.
Hello! My name is Niels and I'm from Belgium. I currently live in Brussels. I'm a native Dutch speaker and I also speak fluent English and Spanish. My passion for languages started because I've learned several myself. I've taken many language classes, and that experience inspired me to teach and give back. I truly believe that languages help us connect with others and understand different cultures on a deeper level. Even though I don't have formal teaching experience yet, I bring patience, enthusiasm, and a structured approach to every lesson. I like to make my classes interactive and fun, with games and practical exercises that gradually build your confidence. Besides teaching, I love discovering languages and cultures, reading, playing chess, and traveling. I look forward to helping you on your Dutch learning journey! While I may not have formal classroom teaching experience, I do have experience giving chess lessons. In those, I helped students think strategically and understand new concepts step by step. This has helped me develop a lot of patience and learn how to explain things clearly and in a structured way. Since I've learned multiple languages myself, I understand well the challenges students face. That's why I focus on clear explanations, practical speaking skills, and building confidence from the very start in my lessons. I always tailor my classes to the student's level and goals, creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. Learning a new language can feel challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. Book a trial lesson with me and let's take the first step together. I'll help you feel comfortable, motivated, and confident from the very beginning. See you soon!
