About Sanne R.
Hi! My name is Sanne, and I work as a social worker for a municipality in the Netherlands. Every day, I support newcomers as they build a new life in the Netherlands. One of the most important steps, and the key to feeling at home in a new country, is learning the language. That's why I enjoy helping people improve their Dutch through practical lessons and everyday conversations. I enjoy exploring new countries, meeting people from around the world, and learning about different cultures. This is also why I am passionate about supporting people who are starting a new life in the Netherlands. My lessons focus on everyday communication, helping you gain confidence in speaking Dutch and using the language in daily situations. I have over six years of experience supporting newcomers. I started my career at an asylum reception center, where I guided people through their first steps in the Netherlands. Today, I work as a social worker for a municipality, where I support newcomers throughout their integration process. I also deliver training sessions on working in the Netherlands, Dutch culture, and everyday life. Through this experience, I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language and adapt to a different culture. That is why my lessons are not only focused on the Dutch language itself, but also on helping you gain the confidence to use Dutch in real-life situations. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for life in the Netherlands, or simply feel more comfortable communicating in Dutch, I am here to support you in a patient, practical, and encouraging way.
