About Eric
I am Dutch-English-Hebrew speaking life-long student who has spent many years traveling around the world. I am very interested in other cultures and religions and enjoy talking about this. At university I studied Hebrew, majoring in Kabbalah, which is a subject I write and teach about. After living in Holland, England, and France, I now live in Portugal on a small farm where my partner and I practice permaculture.
Teaching style
My lessons can be done in Dutch, English, and Hebrew and are custom-made for each student. I am open to using the material I have or what you provide, to helping you with exams and other assignments, or to simply talk. In any case I like to take all the time we need, knowing that for a lot of people a stress-less learning process is beneficial. If you want I can give you homework, or otherwise we can concentrate on your conversation skills. In general my classes are relaxed and inspiring.

Vocabulary is essential when learning a language, Eric introduces a lot of helpful vocabulary words. He allows you to form sentences and to practice the vocabulary words you are learning. He knows grammar quite well if you need help in this area. I highly recommend his teaching style; he is fun to study with and listens well to your stories and share his as well.
I’ve been learning Dutch with Eric for quite some time now, and every lesson continues to be something I genuinely enjoy. He creates a relaxed and motivating atmosphere where it feels easy to speak, make mistakes, and improve.
