Mijn naam is Kiki. Ik ben geboren en getogen in Nederland. I'm open, social and creative. The most important thing in my life is enjoying it and learning to find the path while being on the road. I hope to learn a lot about life here and to contribute with my creativity and open mind. I also hope to have nice conversations and to get a different perspective. Life motto: There is life before death. Never enjoy in moderation. On Italki I'm the same cheerful lady as in real life. Motivation is a big contributor for learning. The most important thing is that you develop a sense of language through repetition and that you learn to express yourself in Dutch. That you dare to speak. We just have a talk or if you start from scratch I give theme-oriented Dutch lessons with self-designed teaching materials. It usually starts with introducing yourself in Dutch and exploring expectations. After this, it can be about different themes such as: practicing pronunciation using the alphabet, colours, numbers, telling the time, body parts, feelings and emotions, going to the doctor, vehicles and traveling by public transport. The goal is to make my students enjoy learning. The content focuses on everyday language use. The lessons are focused on conversation, grammar is discussed, but it is definitely not the starting point.
