Hello! My name is Lisa, and I’m a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands, currently living in Spain. I’m passionate about languages and love helping others feel more confident speaking Dutch. I have several years of experience teaching languages to both children and adults, online and in person. I especially enjoy working with beginners and English speakers who feel that Dutch is “too difficult”, because I truly believe it doesn’t have to be! In my lessons, you’ll find a calm, supportive space where making mistakes is part of the process. I like to focus on conversation and real-life language, but I’m also happy to explain grammar clearly whenever you need it. She is an incredibly helpful and supportive teacher who consistently creates a comfortable and safe learning environment. I especially appreciate that she takes my specific needs into account, particularly my goal of improving my speaking skills. She consistently speaks Dutch during class without frequently switching to English, and she carefully adjusts her level of speech to match my level, allowing me to fully engage in Dutch without needing to rely on English.
