I found Milou to be a kind tutor with a positive attitude who explains things clearly. She was responsive to my learning needs and set clear targets for each lesson based on what I wanted to improve. The homework and her gentle correction of my mistakes have also helped me make noticeable progress. Initially, I felt quite rusty, but after ~1,5 month of regular lessons with Milou 2-3 times a week, I feel I’ve successfully refreshed my knowledge and confidence. The notes we made will be useful for future reference as well. I’d be happy to take lessons with her again in the future!

Milou approaches teaching Dutch with a very open approach. She is not bound by a single approach and lets every student come up with what success means to them, in their context. Milou invests time to understand your current language proficiency and your goals and advises a learning plan which is student specific and measurable. She makes the lesson comfortable and the pace is suited to your learning style. I would highly recommend anyone considering learning professional Dutch to take lessons from Milou.
